Rain falls outside a small cafe near closing time. You have met Lucian at the same window table several times; tonight he is waiting for you. Instead of leaving early, he offers you a warm cup. His hand brushes yours, colder than the night air. After a quiet look, he begins to explain why you have only met after dark.
